After sightseeing of the UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu Valley, EARTHBOUND EXPEDITIONS TEAM will drive you to the ideal mountain village of Nagarkot for something different. Here you will be enjoying great moments with unbeatable mountain views and witness the rural people’s lifestyle. From Nagarkot, we drive to Pokhara for boating and mountain views in the lake city which offers an excellent panoramic view of Annapurna and Fishtail mountain ranges reflecting at the Phewa Lake.

 

From Pokhara, we drive to the jungles of Chitwan National Park which is an exciting surrounding. Stay in a deluxe, yet rustic lodge for two nights or spent it in a comfy-tented cabin. We will spend some time relaxing along the Rapti river, enjoying a fascinating cultural show of the Tharu traditional stick dances, a jungle walk, elephant rides, tiger search, rhino watching, canoeing, bird-watching day trip.

 

Then, we get back to Kathmandu.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Our representative of Earthbound Expeditions will receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and he will be displaying an Earthbound Expeditions signboard. You will then be transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast, your tour commences with an excursion of the famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites situated in the Kathmandu valley. Hop in the comfy a/c bus, and we begin our trip. We head to the sites like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath and Patan Durbar Square. Breakfast included. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara

Wake up early and drive to the majestic city of lakes ‘Pokhara’ in an A/C car. The city is located 200 km west of Kathmandu, and on the route you’ll fall in love with the lush greenery, winding roads and the sky-piercing mountain peaks. (Flight to Pokhara will cost USD 125 extra). Pokhara amazes you with its pristine lakes like Phewa, Rupa, and Begnas that are renowned among travelers for boating. Enjoy a sip of coffee while admiring the beautiful mountain ranges of Annapurna. Explore the charms of Pokhara by visiting David’s fall and temples like Tal Barahi, Bindabasini. Breakfast included. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4: Drive to Sarangkot

You must abide by the proverb ‘Early bird catches the worm’ if you want to see the magnificent sunrise in Sarangkot. The morning rays hitting the snowy peaks of Annapurna and Macchapuchre gives it a slight hint of gold. It is located 10.1 km from Pokhara. Your remaining day will be spent sightseeing in Pokhara, and if you are up for it, you can do some hiking as well. Breakfast included.

Day 5: Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan National Park

Your morning commences with a drive to the magnificent Chitwan National Park which was once a famed hunting ground for aristocrats but now is a protected wildlife reserve. The trip to Chitwan is a fun one, and you’ll experience the climate slowly changing from cold to hot. Traverse the greenery on the back of an elephant and witness endangered species like Bengal Tiger and One-horned rhinoceros. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 6: Full day at Chitwan National Park

Today is the day when you’ll fully explore the beauty of Chitwan National Park. The morning fog along with the chirping of birds makes the ambiance alluring, and you might feel like skipping breakfast and starting the jungle walk. The warm sunlight in the wilderness makes your canoeing trip in the Rapti River relaxing, and you might witness Gharial crocodiles as well. The jiggling ride on the elephant’s back, filled with the laughter of people makes the trip joyful, and you can bathe these gentle giants too. After having your lunch, enjoy the bird watching as the park contains more than 500 species of birds. Blend some culture in your natural tour as you visit the Tharu villages and through their dances get a glimpse into the rural Nepali life. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

Day 7: Return to Kathmandu

After breakfast, you can drive back to Kathmandu or enjoy a scenic flight to Kathmandu (costs USD 124 extra). In Kathmandu, grab some souvenir from the local shops and enjoy common Nepali culture and cuisines. Breakfast and Dinner included.

Day 8: Airport drive for final departure

The trip concludes. Our representatives will drop you at the international airport for your final departure from Nepal. Breakfast included.
